- Slicker plus comb, 3 times a week, in lines, down to the skin. The ruff around the neck and the trousers mat first.
- Bath every 4 to 6 weeks, not weekly. Over-bathing dulls exactly the whiteness people are chasing.
- Never shave, same double-coat rule, same reasons.

Double coat, compact edition.
Weekly: slicker + comb, 15 min x 3 days. Neck ruff and trousers first.
Bath: every 4 to 6 weeks. Weekly washing dulls the white.
Coat blow: daily brushing for 2 to 3 weeks, then it settles.
Never: shave.
Skip: whitening shampoos as a habit. Brushing is what shines.
Flakes or constant scratching: vet.
